Open* Invite

Brand Identity and Social Media

An community driven social club made to build a safe space for girls, gays and theys to connect in real life while supporting Portland's local businesses.

The visual concept emerged from the idea of human warmth and connection, using organic strokes and hand-drawn assets to create a sense of comfort and proximity balancing it with a modern aesthetic.

To reinforce the brand's commitment to social responsibility, the color palette was inspired by posters from the Women's Suffrage Movement, adding a sense of warmth through deep red and orange tones.

Open* Invite was a particularly meaningful project for me, as it allowed me to support a community I believe in and am part of, while collaborating closely with the founders through the exchange of experiences, aesthetics, and references.

My main goal was to represent the business's mission as well as the founders' personalities and vision. Once the asterisk was central to both the name and its meaning, it became the primary graphic element guiding the brand identity.
