The deck was conceived as an admission ticket to an oddity exhibition, turning the unboxing into part of the narrative. Victorian-inspired ornaments frame the cards, while purple became the primary color to evoke the mystical atmosphere of oddity stores and bring this historical research into the visual identity.

The illustrations combine traditional American tattoo aesthetics with cross-hatching inspired by Victorian wood engravings. The packaging references Zoltar fortune-telling machines, while the extensive use of dark wood in Victorian interiors reinforces the cabinet of curiosities aesthetic.
